FAQ

Q: How do we integrate to vPromos?

A:  vPromos uses a JSON API interface.  This includes the ability to register members, manage reward points and provide discount amounts.

Q: What security protocols do you use to protect our information and regulate access?

A:  vPromos’ infrastructures reside in Microsoft’s Azure cloud, which employs Microsoft’s high secure gateway and private networking to secure all the data and data access.  All traffic between the backend and the terminals are SSL encrypted.

Q: What is Tokenization?

A:  vPromos uses card linking technology.  This is to link members to their credit cards.  vPromos tokenizes the credit card.   vPromos does not store any credit card information.

Q: What hardware devices do you support?

A:  We currently support Dejavoo Z11 and Z9 and the AMP 8000. We can fully integrate into any ISO or Android terminal with minimal effort.

Q: What level of Support do you provide?

A:  vPromos provides support to our ISO’s and ISV’s.  A relationship manager will be assigned.  Support is available M-F, 8:00 AM CT-5:00 PM CT.  Partners and Merchants have full access of our Customer Service Portal to support most Member issues.

Q: Is vPromos Processor Agnostic?

A:  Yes.  We can interface with any Partners Processor.  If you need processing as part of your solution, we offer our AMP 8000 terminal which is certified with TSYS.

Q: What is the process to add a new merchant to your processing solution?

A:   Merchant application is required if using vPromos Processor.  Application will be reviewed by underwriting.  Terminal will be set up and downloaded, tested for card acceptance and vLoyalty. 

Q: What process is used to add a merchant to vLoyalty (Loyalty and Text Messaging platform)?

A:  Your sales representatives can complete our online enrollment form with all the relevant information. Typical turnaround is 24-48 hours to process and activate the new Merchant. 

Q: What is the process to remove a merchant from your platform?

A: Merchant sends notice to vPromos to cancel account.  The merchant account is deactivated in our Data base. We notify the merchant of the planned deactivation date and remind them of the legal obligations related to current outstanding member rewards.  vPromos accelerates all member points towards claiming of rewards and final notification is sent to the member of the deadline to redeem their rewards.
